CHRISTOPHER KNAPP | DIRECTOR

Christopher Knapp
Christopher worked at Studley from 2003 to 2009 as a lead business development liaison and tenant consultant. He focused on representing office users in all aspects of their real estate needs, including financial modeling, space identification and negotiation. His objective was to enable corporations and clients to align their real estate portfolios with their business objectives by minimizing occupancy costs, hedging against future lease related risks, and maximizing operational efficiencies. At Blackhawk, he seeks to assist developers and buyers achieve the highest return possible on their investments by providing immediate access to the most competitive sources of real estate that the market has to offer. These include joint ventures, sponsor and preferred equity, and structured and mezzanine debt.

ALEX CONTRERAS | SENIOR LOAN OFFICER

Alex Contreras
Alex is a leader in the residential lending industry with over 11 years of experience. His main goal is to provide customized financing to the needs of the client keeping in mind financial safety first. He has worked as a mortgage analyst, originator and a manager, overseeing teams of over 25 loan officers and hundreds of closed transactions. Alex found his passion for lending while helping individuals navigate through the complex financial aspect of residential real estate. Alex graduated from UCLA with a B. A. in Business/Economics and a minor in International Relations.

ROBERT ENG | VICE PRESIDENT

Robert graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Economics and a minor in Psychology. He has over 17 years of experience in the residential real estate finance and business consulting industries. He has worked with various companies in the mortgage industry with positions in sales/marketing, management and operations. Before coming to Blackhawk Capital, Robert was a branch manager for large national mortgage bank and was responsible for opening a new retail branch office in San Francisco, California. He was intimately involved in creating the branch's business plan and all other facets leading to the successful opening of the new office. This included recruiting loan originators and staff, maintaining and building business relationships for the new branch. He had full accountability in the branch's day to day operations, mentoring employees and maintaining/growing the branch as well as his personal mortgage origination production. Most recently, Robert was a loan officer originating mortgages for a large national home builder, earning the ranking as Top Loan Officer for the 2007 Fiscal Year in the Western Region for Customer Service. He joined Blackhawk Capital full time in 2008 and is currently the Vice President.
